How much are your lab puppies?
Our prices are not the same for every litter. Prices will vary depending on the bloodlines. We do not charge different prices for males/females or for different colors. Please call us for pricing.
Where are you located?
We are located in Red Bud, IL which is only 45 minutes south of St. Louis, MO.
How do I reserve a lab puppy?
We do not take deposits for a litter until we confirm pregnancy which happens approximately 30 days after a breeding takes place. Please call or send us an email to make sure the litter you are interested in still has availability. If it does, we will send you a link to fill out a questionnaire. Once we approve you as a good home for one of our puppies, we will send a deposit contract via email for you to complete and return with your deposit. We allow 6 hours for the signed contract and deposit to arrive. If the deposit fails to arrive within 6 hours, the puppy will become available again for someone else to reserve. We require a non-refundable $500 deposit to reserve a puppy. The deposit is deducted off of the total price of the puppy. ** If there are not enough males/females in the litter to satisfy the reservation list then deposits will be refunded accordingly.
How does the reservation list work?
We will take 3 deposits per sex in a single colored litter. An all chocolate litter reservation will look like this …
1st Pick Female – RESERVED (this means someone has already reserved this spot)
2nd Pick Female – PENDING (meaning someone has a deposit on the way)
3rd Pick Female – OPEN (this spot is still available)

If we have a litter with multiple colors, then we will only take 2 deposits per sex/color until the litter arrives. Example …

When do we get to pick out our lab puppy?
We do not allow picks to take place until the puppies are 8 weeks old and ready to go to their new homes. Picks will be made IN PERSON at our home in Red Bud, IL in the order of deposits received. NO EXCEPTIONS! The pick up day for our litters are scheduled on Saturdays after they turn 8 weeks old. We allow one hour per appointment to meet the puppies, ask any questions you have, make your pick and complete all necessary paperwork.
When can we pick up our lab puppy?
Our lab puppies will not leave our care until they are at least 8 weeks old. We normally schedule pickups on a weekend as this works best for most families. I do allow week day pickups if the weekend we designate does not work for some BUT the puppies must be 8 weeks old and proper order of picks still has to take place.
Can I come visit the puppies?
We do not allow visitors until the puppies are 8 weeks old. We do this in order to protect them and our other dogs from highly contagious and deadly viruses like parvo. Puppies do not have a fully developed immune system and are more susceptible to these things at a very young age. We still have to be very cautious when you come to pick up your puppy at 8 weeks and have several different disinfectant mats that we ask you to step in before entering our home.
What do I need to bring on pickup day?
Remember to bring the final payment for your puppy. We require the balance to be paid in cash. No puppy will leave until paid in full. We also recommend on bringing a kennel to safely secure your puppy in the vehicle when traveling home. If you have passengers that want to hold the puppy on their lap, that is fine too but I like to have a kennel just in case. Baby wipes and paper towels are good to have on hand in case of any accidents. A stainless steel bowl, I like this one and bottled water are also recommended.
What food do you recommend?
We will send a small bag of food home with you that your puppy is currently eating. We also send home a feeding instruction sheet that includes the brand and formula that your puppy is being fed, where to buy the food, how much food to feed him/her and how often he/she needs to eat.
What size crate do you recommend for a Labrador puppy.
For a lab puppy, we use a size 24″ crate/kennel. Lab Puppies tend to grow fairly quickly and it won’t be long before your lab pup has outgrown this size. In order to prevent having to buy multiple crates as your puppy grows, we recommend buying a 42″ crate that has the option of adding a divider.
What toys/treats/chews do you recommend for lab puppies?
We use all kinds of toys/treats/chews here for our labrador puppies and dogs. Our favorite brands are Nylabone, Kong, JW Pet, USA Bones and Chews,Old Mother Hubbard, Charlee Bear and Zuke’s to name a few. We purchase most of these products along with our dog food at www.chewy.com.
